The Original Wedge-Lock design enhances the strength and durability of this premium frame. The frame actually becomes stronger as more weight is applied. This design feature also enables fast and easy assembly. The included Headboard Brackets are riveted and feature extra wide construction. They are offset to fit virtually all headboards. The legs are deeply recessed to help prevent possible foot injury. This frame features wide 2" rug rollers for easy mobility. Please see the additional images for detailed measurements of this frame. You would use the Adapto Hook if your headboard is not actually supporting your bed; it would be attached and supported by the Adapto-Hook. If, on the other hand, your headboard would need to help support your bed, you would need the Bolt-On to Hook-On Bed Frame Conversion Brackets; they allow your headboard to support your bed.
